I'm Lauri Lohi, 34-years-old, self taught Fine Art nature Photographer and post-production artist based in Turku, Southern Finland.
I passionately love and enjoy the nature and endless beauty of it.

Visions and emotions through atmospheric images
I’ve always been an introverted, artistic person and loved being in nature to enjoy beautiful, relaxing atmospheric moments, wonderful colors and shapes of it. Nothing gives me more inspiration and strength like being in nature all by myself. When I first noticed how addicting it is to capture all that beauty with the camera and present all that beauty like the way I see, it was really obvious that nature and landscape photography is my thing. I've found that it's the way I can express my feelings and emotions the best.
First touch to camera and photography was when I was a little kid, about 11-years-old. I practiced with my parents cheap 3,2 megapixel Minolta digital pocket camera. Photography was love at the first sight and I absolutely fell in love with it. Since that I've photographed more and less as my own joy and it was not ever so serious. I never thought that someday I'll do it as profession. But the year 2015 was turning point as I was inspired to take my photography more seriously and decided to took it to the next level. I bought my first full frame camera Canon EOS 6D. I started to really focus on to learning and developing my photography and post processing skills more and began to take the challenges etc. I jumped in to different social media platforms to share my images to the world. Since that my photographer career has grown and nowdays I'm doing it as part-time profession as people love my work!
My images has been published worldwide in numerous photography magazines like Practical Photography Magazine, Digital slr Photography Magazine, Photography Masterclass, Kamera-Lehti, Digikuva-magazine and in various news papers.
My images has been featured in big Instagram accounts like Earthfocus, Woderful Places, Earthpix, Artofvisuals, Nakedplanet, BBCEarth, Ourplanetdaily, Awesome_earthpix, Awesome.earth, Tourtheplanet, Nature.geography, 500px.
I've collaborated, worked with and made content to brands and agencies like Serif, Naava, NiSi Filters, Visit Finland, Visit Hämeenlinna, Go Tavastia, Evon luonto, Petäys Resort, and IRIX-lenses to name a few. Other than that my photos have been licensed worldwide for various purposes.
I've had three photo exhibitions, the first one at Aulangon tornikahvila, Aulanko, Hämeenlinna on summer-autumn 2016, the second one at Runonkulman galleria, Uusikaupunki, Finland on December 2016 and the third, again at Aulangon tornikahvila, Aulanko, Hämeenlinna on summer-autumn 2017
My images are available to purchase as prints and as digital versions with different types of licenses.
